We are honored to assist with the festivities at the Martin Luther King Jr Recreation Center by screening Selma for the community on Martin Luther King Jr Day.

We are very honored to have assisted with Sundance Institute's Artist Services Philadelphia Workshop for Filmmakers by providing and operating our projection equipment and one of our screens. It was an amazing, informative day of industry experts sharing advice to help independent filmmakers reach their goals. We also picked up quite a few strategies for our organization. Thank you Sundance Institute!

The Great Race screening at Liberty Vintage Motorcycles  in Fishtown at the conclusion of the Kensington Kenetic  Derby and Arts Festival.

Our friends at CineMug have been gracious enough to let us bring our 16mm projectors and a print of this hilarious horror/comedy film to run on Saturday, October 17th at 7pm! The movie is an all time classic where the two beloved comedians run into all the great Hollywood monsters including Dracula, the Wolf Man, and, of course, Frankenstein himself! Co-Starring Lon Chaney Jr. and Bela Lugosi as Dracula! This is a rare chance to see this great movie on actual film! Plus vintage cartoons....don't miss it!!

Horror Film Series at the Ruba Club

Cinema Ray is presenting four iconic horror classics at the Ruba Club once a week on Wednesdays in the month of October. Each of the four films will be accompanied by local musicians who are creating unique original scores utilizing their different music styles.

October 5, Andrew Malanowicz will perform his score to Lon Chaney’s The Phantom of the Opera.

October 12, David Smolen will be accompanying the German Expressionist classic, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari with his score

October 19, Mike Kiker will perform his overture and score to Inferno, the 1911 Italian rarity and first feature film produced in Italy.

October 26, experimental band Horsey will be accompanying the German classic Nosferatu with their orchestration.

We would like to thank the Mutter Museum, Theatre Exile, Ruba Club and   Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival for their support of the Silent Screams series

We were honored to assist with the Philadelphia Unnamed Film Festival, October 6-9.
